Black Lives Matter Essay College Writing
Black Lives Matter Essay College WritingBlack Lives Matter Essay College Writing is an essay based on the reality of the Black Lives Matter movement and the way they are currently being portrayed in the media. This essay focuses more on the outcomes of a movement instead of the experience of a group of people. There are stories that go on, being told to many people who feel like it is not their story to tell. The stories of what they face every day at work, at school, and the way they are portrayed in the media. When someone reads the news or is watching the news, they don't always see justice happening. They often see one story after another and see the pain of their favorite entertainer, a person that they love and idolize, but are seeing a lot of violent crime, and lack of jobs for black youth.Justice is not being able to go to the store and be able to get milk and bread. Justice is being able to walk down the street without having your property stolen or your life threatened on a d aily basis. If we want to fight against injustice, we must write about it and use the power of the internet to spread the word. We must make the media aware of the fact that these injustices have taken place for far too long and must be put to an end immediately. This is a way for students at University of Missouri to discuss a group of individuals who are known as Black Lives Matter, but is not a group who are doing anything illegal, not in any way. You do not have to agree with the movement to acknowledge that it is trying to fix a problem in our society that has been going on for far too long. With the power of the internet, the ability to spread the word, and write this essay, you will have many ideas and concepts that you can contribute to the topic of racial justice and other topics that students may ask you about. Remember that the first step towards justice is knowledge, and that is what you can contribute to the movement by writing essays, videos, or reading articles online.
